CampusVital cordially invites everyone to the next CampusVital LOUNGE on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Café rock-paper / Mensa Foyer.
The speaker, Ms. Hua Yu, will provide an overview of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and its five pillars, and will conclude with a practical demonstration of acupuncture.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic medical system dating back thousands of years that views the human being as a unity of body, mind, and spirit and seeks to bring these elements into harmony. Its most important therapeutic methods include acupuncture, herbal medicine, Tuina massage, Qigong, and nutritional therapy. The goal is to identify disruptions in the flow of energy and activate the body’s natural self-healing powers. TCM is used to treat conditions such as pain, stress, sleep disorders, digestive problems, allergies, and functional disorders. It is often used as a complementary therapy to conventional medical treatments.
